I definitely think e-books and readers like this will be the wave of the future for many reasons. I'm holding off, however, since I think we will start to see many more devices and like the whole Betamax/VCR controversy, I'd like to see a uniform standard adopted that lets you read the downloaded file in more places. I have read e-books and now have 4 different readers on my PC and/or smartphone because no one can seemingly agree on a standard. That's a big turnoff. Great blog! He says they've provided the Kindle' many features (esp. the wireless radio) at the absolute lowest price. Boo! But maybe they'll take a page out of Sony Reader's book (pardon the pun!) by offering a full-price, all the bells and whistle version and then a stripped-down version for less.
