About the Liberty States Fiction Writers

Liberty States Fiction Writers is a multi-genre organization dedicated to the education and support of all fiction writers. We provide workshops and networking events to aid both published and yet-to-be published writers. So, whether you’re trying to write and sell your first book of your fortieth, the Liberty States Fiction Writers can help.

At Liberty States Fiction Writers we believe the exchange of information between writers in different genres is beneficial. LSF Writers was created to offer members support with:

  • The Craft of Writing
  • Networking, both in-person and on-line
  • Promotion and Publicity
  • Technology
  • Understanding how the publishing industry works

Our monthly meetings offer our members:

  • Workshops featuring guest speakers from the industry, including publishing professionals and authors
  • Roundtable sessions, including, but not limited to topics such as:
    • Manuscript review and critique
    • How to get an agent
    • Contract negotiation
    • Promoting your book
    • New technologies that facilitate the writing process
