Historical fantasy and suspense author Christie Stratos will take you behind the scenes of Kindle Vella, Amazon’s answer to serialized publishing. While Kindle Vella has only been around since 2021 (still in its infancy!), a lot has changed about it, and some authors are making their living publishing through Vella. So what is it exactly and how does it work? How do you make money with it and who is your audience? These are just a few of the topics to be covered in this presentation.

About the Presenter: Christie Stratos is an award-winning historical suspense and gaslamp fantasy author with a passion for the Victorian era and forgotten history. Her short stories and poetry have been published in anthologies, literary journals, and magazines. As a professional editor for over ten years, Christie has edited hundreds of manuscripts through her company, Proof Positive, working one-on-one with authors as well as with small presses. She co-hosts a once-a-month live read videocast called Lurking for Legends with award-winning epic fantasy author Richard H. Stephens and sci-fi author David M. Kelly.
