Congratulations Catherine Greenfeder

Congratulations to LSF Writers member Catherine Greenfeder, whose short story, COLLIDING WITH THE PAST, is being published as part of the GHOST STORIES anthology by SEZ Publishing. Writing is a passion for Catherine Greenfeder. Born in Greenwich Village, with its artistic influences, she enjoyed the library, Central and Washington Square Parks, and the art museums. Her earliest influences were the children’s books she read, her Irish grandfather’s ghost stories, and encouraging teachers.

After receiving a B.A. in English, Catherine worked in advertising and promotion before returning to college while her son was a toddler. She acquired her M.A. in Teaching and taught language arts for twenty-five years. Fully retired, Catherine is focusing more on her writing and creating a lot of watercolor paintings.

She has published five novels and a few short stories. Her novels include a western historical romance, Wildflowers, two paranormal romance novels, Sacred Fires and Angels Among Us, two young adult novels, A Kiss Out of Time and A Dance Out of Time. She is currently revising a young adult fantasy and a horror romance for adults.

Congrats Lois Winston

Congratulations to LSF Writers Member and Founding Member Lois Winston on the release of EMBROIDERED LIES AND ALIBIS, #15 in the Anastasia Pollack Crafting Mystery. Here’s a little teaser for it:

A Stitch in Time Could Save a Life…

When Anastasia’s mother Flora is offered a free spa vacation from Jeremy Dugan, a man connected to her distant past, Anastasia and husband Zack suspect ulterior motives. After all, too-good-to-be-true often spells trouble.
Their suspicions are confirmed when the FBI swoops in to apprehend Dugan. However, Dugan isn’t who he claimed to be, and his arrest raises more questions than answers.

The Feds link Dugan to a string of cons targeting elderly single women across the
country, but his seemingly airtight alibi leaves investigators stumped. Then, shortly after his release on bail, he’s kidnapped. A certain
segment of New Jersey’s population is known for delivering deadly messages, and the FBI believes Dugan received one of them.
Meanwhile, bodies begin showing up in the newly created public garden across the street from Anastasia and Zack’s home. With two baffling crimes, no clear suspects, scant evidence, and every possible motive unraveling, both the FBI and local law enforcement are once again picking Anastasia’s brain. This time, though, her involvement is far from reluctant. Will she stitch together enough clues before she or someone she loves becomes the killer’s next victim?

Craft project included.

When the detective responsible for Meg’s nightmares takes over the murder investigation of her former student, Meg hunts the killer down with help from her friends. Their cozy lunches at Sweet Buns Café turn into tactical meetings while these retired grade school teachers get themselves in trouble better suited to those in their twenties. And to put the icing on their cream scones, someone is after Meg. Is it the killer? Or has Meg uncovered secrets better left buried with her loved ones?

Congrats L.G. O’Connor on Your New Release!

Award-winning Author and LSF Writers Member L.G. O’Connor’s novelette PERFECT ODDS hits shelves today! This is an expanded version of a story that appeared in The Worst Valentine’s Day Ever anthology. Grab your copy today at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G3571BPC. Here’s a little teaser for it:

Fate has a name. Just don’t ask us to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Hi, I’m Olivia Yu. Ever ask, “What are the odds?” My business partner, Bach, and I do every day at Lucky in Love, Inc. We’ve built a multi-million-dollar business in three years, secretly engineering second-chance love for unsuspecting lonely hearts. Not bad for two Wharton B-school dropouts (unless you ask my parents, but that’s another story).

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, we take the odds. The next couple in our sights: airline flight attendant, Tanya
Gates, and firefighter, Tate Manning. T & T. They sound cute, right? Too bad we have to give one of them the worst Valentine’s Days ever to get this scenario to work. This time, when Bach says, “All it takes is one match,” the sick f*ck means literally.
